Join CB Parks and Rec for Summer Baseball!CB Parks & Rec summer baseball will teach kids baseball skills, like throwing, catching and hitting, plus teamwork and sportsmanship. Fee includes the cost of a uniform shirt and hat that participants get to keep at the end of the season. This program is perfect for both first timers and kids who have played before. Teams will be formed in the age groups below and are coed. If you are interested in volunteering to help provide quality, developmental, fun programs to Crested Butte Youth. Please contact Sean Slattery at recreation@crestedbutte-co.gov or call 970-349-7197. Tee BallPractices will focus on fundamentals. Game play will be introduced throughout the season.Coach PitchThis group will be split into teams. Teams will practice together on Mondays and play "sandlot" style games on Wednesdays.MinorsPractices will be 2-3 times per week Monday-Friday.MajorsPractices will take place 2-3 times per week, Monday-Saturday. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays with an option for Friday "sandlot." A schedule will be published at the beginning of the season.Equipment: All players must have a glove. Join CB Parks and Rec for Summer Baseball!CB Parks & Rec summer baseball will teach kids baseball skills, like throwing, catching and hitting, plus teamwork and sportsmanship. Fee includes the cost of a uniform shirt and hat that participants get to keep at the end of the season. This program is perfect for both first timers and kids who have played before. Teams will be formed in the age groups below and are coed. If you are interested in volunteering to help provide quality, developmental, fun programs to Crested Butte Youth. Please contact Sean Slattery at recreation@crestedbutte-co.gov or call 970-349-7197. Tee BallPractices will focus on fundamentals. Game play will be introduced throughout the season.Coach PitchThis group will be split into teams. Teams will practice together on Mondays and play "sandlot" style games on Wednesdays.MinorsPractices will be 2-3 times per week Monday-Friday.MajorsPractices will take place 2-3 times per week, Monday-Saturday. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays with an option for Friday "sandlot." A schedule will be published at the beginning of the season.Equipment: All players must have a glove.
